Fundación Siempre a Tu Lado ("Always By Your Side") was founded in Pereira by Lina López from a simple conviction: no dog should face the streets alone. We started rescuing one dog at a time — with limited resources, but total commitment.
We're still a small team today, and that's our strength: every dog in our care gets individual attention, patient rehabilitation, and a careful search for the ideal home. We're not a massive shelter; we're a temporary family for each pup until they find their forever one.
We believe in responsible adoption, spay/neuter as the long-term solution, and education about the dignified treatment of animals.
Every adoption includes follow-up. An adopted dog is a lifetime commitment.
Every rescue gets vet care, vaccines, and spay/neuter before adoption.
Every donation goes to the dogs. We show where each peso is spent.
We work toward a culture of respect and care for animals in our community.
